Unfortunately the nearest inpatient program is 3 hours from me and I have 2 young children who depend on me. I am not suicidal but I have lost my ability to cope and every minute of my life is like torture. I don't know what to do.

Is there any relative you could leave the kids with for a while? I bet that's the hardest thing, leaving them... but you need to help yourself for both you and them! and if that means being hospitalised then do it. Could you contact your T? Maybe see what they think about being an inpatient?

All the best to you. Take care and stay safe,
Molly

i know how that is with meds........frustrating to say the least!!!!!!!

i agree with molly.

please, call your therapist as soon as possible if your medication is not working.

your t can't help if he doesn't know what's going on.

take care

I think the ideal situation would be to go to a partial hospitalization program, since you're not a danger to self or others. But it sounds like that's not available unless you could find somewhere to stay near one.
Bringing this up to your t is a good idea. S/he should know what's available in your area.
