I just don't ever think I'm going to like my life. I have no hope that it will get better. There is so much wrong. School is going poorly. My finances are a mess. I am unemployed. I don't think I'll ever get what I want out of life. I have no one in my life that I really trust. I am tired of always feeling pain. I am tired of always being bitter.

I am tired of life.

I wonder if it is supposed to get better or if it will be horrible then someday end.

I don't even know why I am hanging on anymore. Not only isn't there a light, I don't even think that there ever was.

I just want to stop hurting...

(((((((((figuring it out))))))) Do you have a t to help you this? Because you can get through it. You don't always have to feel this way. Please find s0meone you can talk to that will help guide you. Have you looked at any of the depression resources here on pc?

I have those same feelings a lot of times. Why am i here? what am i supposed to do. But in order to see the good things in life we have to experience some bad. It makes us more appreciative of what good comes our way. Unfortunately it seems i pick out the bad before the good.

Do I like being depressed. NO! and im sure you dont either. But it is what it is. The way i feel is that I was wired this way, I didnt ask for it. Dont think any of us really do. But i keep coming back here. making friends and realizing that while we have "extra" emotions that others dont have, we are human, and deserve to feel happy.

It does get better, trust me. Take it from somebody whos spent most of her life wanting it to stop. I want to live. I want YOU to live too. and from you coming here its proof that you do too. So give yourself some credit. a pat on the back. and a hug from a fellow depressed individual who wants it to get better. theres always hope that tomorrow will be better than today. So if today is not so hot.

We still have tomorrow.

Take care,
Colleen
Thanks for this!

Well, sometimes there are good days. They can be hard to see, try to look past the jacked up parts and see the pretty tree or the nice smile from a stranger or how nice that shirt looks on you. Since I started on my medications it gets a little easier to see the more pleasant thing. And the bad didn't seen quite so bad.
