I forgot to take my Lexapro last night (this has happened once before). I didn't even realize I forgot to take it until I started feeling all whiny and paranoid this morning. Do you think missing one pill can do this to you??? I don't like being dependent on a pill for my moods. This is lame.

I don't think 1 night would make a huge difference but just remember to take it today

I usually can go about 3 days with out it making a difference (I too am on lexapro) I don't take it when I'm going to drink which is probably not the best idea but I figure if I'm still gonna drink I shouldn't take it that day.

I use my alarm clock to remind me to do things during the day. Who says they are only for a wake up call. They are great little reminders.

Best Wishes,

I take Lexapro also and it usually doesn't bother me till about the second day. One week I really screwed up though and forgot for four days. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!

Sometimes I forget my afternoon dose of Effexor -- and if I do that two or three days in a row, I do notice a change in me.

When I am taking antibiotics that require a strict schedule, I have alarm watches. I don't know where they are right now. They are always a pain to set -- The instructions are in such small type and so are the little buttons one is supposed to press in a given sequence that I never seem to get get quite right . . .

I'm not really familiar with Lexapro but...

I always thought that if you miss a dose of meds, you should take it as soon as you realize you missed it. Maybe next time you get a refill, read that little info packet that they give you. It might give you a better idea about what to do if this happens again. didn't take my medicine last night....now what
