just wanted to let you guys know ive been talking with mom over the past few months quite a bit and some new realizations were made on both sides.. her health was slipping pretty badly and i was concerned enough to involve another trusted family member... after we each had talks with mom she has made some choices that will greatly improve her health.. even if she is unable to follow through completely, it was a Godsend to hear that she wants to try...
thank you to everyone who's been supporting me through this and to all of PC for being here

As a frog of little brain, when it comes to family we try and try even when we are no sure anything positive will come out of it. Sometimes we are pleasantly surprised. Sometimes we can only hold on to the love that survives because we're family.
I'm so glad your mother has decided to try. Could still end up with a lot of up and downs. But you can hold on to the love & pleasure of this moment because she has decided to try.

thanks you guys, with your help and all of PC to inspire me, i keep trying each day to lift moms' spirits just a little... its hard for her to get momentum going right now and without her own effort i would be lost completely... sending hugs and love always

thanks for reading and caring, mom and i had another good long talk today about somethings that have been bothering me a long time and it was good to feel a true two-way connection going on between us... feels like i have my mom back in a lot of ways
