Hello alynn, welcome to psychcentral. This is a great place to meet friends and find support, many find it very helpful and there are some really great members here.
If your therapy and meds are not helping then this is something that should be brought up with your doctor, sometimes it is necessary to try several different med combos before you find the one that works for you. Are you still in therapy? Therapy is one of those things that takes time but sometimes people have to try a few different therapists before they find the right one. If you are still in therapy I recommend talking to your therapist about this concern.

If you have any questions feel free to private message any community liaison or moderator via private message, here is a link to a list of the forum leaders.

I'm curious what kind of therapy you've tried. Different types of depression respond to different types of therapy. I thought therapy was relatively useless until I found the right fit. Also, do you have confidence in your therapist and in your doctor? If not, I'd look for someone else.

I am in therapy and have been for two years now with at least four different therapists. The problem is that I can not tell anybody everything that is wrong. I guess I dont know how to or am just scared to. Do you think that because I am unable to open up to anyone, no therapy will help?

No, I think it can still help. Just not as much as it would if you could open up all the way. Have you been able to share different stuff with different people or are you always holding back the same thing(s)? If you've opened up to different people in different ways, you probably feel more able to relate to a community of people around you than just one person. Holding onto hope for you.
Thanks for this!
