I saw my pdoc today and she's considering referring me to a Dr. that runs a program on mindfullness based meditation specifically for people with mood disorders. She said it would be 50 / 50 if they'd accept me because my Dx's are complex but she thought it might help.
I just wondered if anyone else has used mindfullness specifically in the treatment of depression. ---splitimage |

Hi splitimage,
Get hold of Eckhart Tolle's book "the power of now" It has helped me to put a pause between thoughts. I understand how the "pain body" can awaken at any time and old memories, ideas and thoughts can cause one to obssess about one's past or worry about the future. His books have been on the New York Times bestsellers list. Hope this helps. dawnhopeful |
