Ok, so I have been on meds for the past 6 months.
I started to feel better a month into taking them...or did I? Maybe that was just what I wanted to think to make me remember to take them.
In any event, 6 months later and I am still depressed. Still questioning why life seems so carefree for some people and so damn difficult for me.
And oh god, tell a friend you are depressed and not coping well and then expect to not hear from them for a while. So, bad enough I feel lonely with people, all this depression does it now make me more alone.
Oh yeah, and my office closes at the end of April so there will be no insurance to even get the meds.
AHHH....why me lord, why? <font color="purple"> </font>

(((sj0401))) Please don't give up on the depression meds quite yet. Sometimes it takes awhile to come up with the right combination. It took almost a year for my pdoc to come up with my current combination but it is finally working. You are not alone with your feelings of depression. There are many here who can relate. Don't worry about your loss of insurance. I have no insurance and I get my meds from a social service organization. Also at some point you may qualify for Medicaid and your meds would be free. Feel better and keep posting.

Don't give up your fight with those meds yet hun.
Sometimes it takes a lot of changes to find just the right doss or add new meds in or switch them to others to find just what works best for you.

Good luck

It took 2 years for me to get the meds mix right. It's been a miracle. Don't give up.
