Possible trigger:
How do you get over or adapt not having movement, grip, not been able to use most of your left arm?

Thank you for posting your story Almosthappy. I am so sorry for your injury.
Your question has a physical, emotional and will part. Physical therapy, emotional therapy and your will and determination to overcome as much as possible the physical limitations you have may be required. I am shocked that you only lost the left arm. It is a blessing in disguise compared to the other possible outcomes like being paralyzed.

Several years ago, I lost partial use of my left arm. It was from a pinched nerve. Luckily, I was able, through physical therapy,to get the use back. I'm currently going through the same thing with my right arm. Thankfully, it hasn't affected my arm's functioning. IDK what I'd do if it was permanent. It's scary.
Is your paralysis permanent? Can you get physical and occupational therapies? Please be patient with yourself. ![]() |
