I went and saw him today for a follow up on my knees.

He told me why my left knee has been hurting so much lately and told me its because it has been doing the work of my right knee also. Since I sprained my right knee the left knee has to do double duty he said. So he told me he could give me a shot or send me home with some cream to rub on 2xs a day. I opted for the cream. I will give it a try and if it doesn't work will go back in for the shot.

I told him how hard it is for me to walk from the parking lot to the entrance to many of the places around here and asked for a handicapped tag. He told me that he needs me to walk and so no on the handicapped tag. I can barely walk it hurts so bad so I have to limit myself to where I can shop or drive around until a spot opens up close enough to the front so I don't have to walk very far. I know walking is supposed to help tendonitis but omg it hurts so very bad when I have to do it for very long.

I say you go your doc and say you'll walk around if it helps the knee... but that you still want the disabled parking permit! Or can you go to another doc and get it from them instead?

(((((((((((Jan))))))))))))) sorry you're hurting, hope the cream works.

not knowing your condition, I found aleve antiinflamitory worked well, it is the non prescription verion of naproxen, if you need a cane use it on the good leg side. I went thru years of knee pain befor they found my hip was wore out, then they found it by accident, an artifical hip answered my problem.
the injections only worked for a while. and had a few side effects. I hope you do well, and recover fully. good luck

plus, you can get the application from motor vehicles, and just have him sign it when you see him... why don't Dr's have these forms, I'll never know, that could benefit their patients right away, like elec. and gas savings when devices are used at home, etc.... and give them out when needed. geesh.

I just found out I too, am eligible for savings on my power bill because my heat needed to be used more often, due to long-term illness... and this is a sizable discount.

Please be your best advocate here and make it easy to get what you need by preparing yourself.

Peace,
