Finally, after hoooooooow many years of drs and symptoms, today i got the Fibro dx. This even after my current dr had told me that the adrenal fatigue was showing up for me as Fibro, it was still not listed in my chart as a dx. Having been denied disability and now doing the appeal (pick a dx, any dx) at least now what I say (pain-wise) will match my charts.
Now back to trying to explain that DID/MPD, complex PTSD, anxety, depression, panic attacks and fibro are alllllllllllll connected and all need to be treated as real, chronic issues.

I'm glad for you that you got something that explains your pain.

I hope it works out for you with the appeal.

thank y'all. i mean... i know it's not much in accordance with other things, and the medical community doesn't accept it... but it is something.

Good kiya!

I mean not good that you have fibro, but good that you got some results.

Your welcome to check out the fibro check-in thread in chronic pain! We all sort of keep up with one another there.
Thanks for this!

Here is a book that might help. I ran across these two when they first combined FMS with CMP (I have CMP)... and showed the differences but weren't sure about causes I think.

You're right that the medical jury is still out on this one. However, the arthritis foundation has taken it under it's wings. You might find more help there: http://www.arthritis.org/disease-cen...?disease_id=10

Good wishes!
