I wanted to introduce myself(s) and say I have been looking around here all morning and have read some awesome and supportive things. Right now some alters we have known were there but have not been able to communicate with have been coming forward and they want to, no, need to reach out and talk to some others that find themselves scared and in an unfamiliar place.
They don't trust me Deb51, or M.I.A. (pronounced my-aah) and so here we are trying to help them connect with somebody. This place seems like the right place. I have littles but they are shy. Mia is17 and I am 51. Thanks for being here.

Welcome Deb, M.I.A. and everyone who is reading this. This is a good place with kind and understanding people who will respond to you respectfully. I hope that you find some of what you need. It sounds positive already!

we hope u like it here deb...as well as all ur alters...this is a friendly place an u will learn ta like us like everyone has...an this is a real safe place ta b too...nobody says mean things an we all r sposta look out for our own systems...that way nobody can get hurt consciously without one of the system's own protectors comin ta make sense of whats said...my names abbi an im 15...we been here since december...an like it tons...theres good ppl here an there r some really wise ppl here too...specially when u need someone ta help with a problem...or deal with someone in ur system that might need some help...we dont claim ta b drs, or social workers, but we r willin ta listen an help iffn we cn...glad ur here...hugs iffn u want em...

Thank you Miri, Manda, abbi of jewels and turquoisesea. Your welcomes mean a lot to me (us). It is scary coming someplace new and putting such personal stuff out there. It reminds me of going to a new T and having to tell my history all over again. I know you all aren't therapists and that this is a peer to peer support forum but I'm just saying it is still scary. Again, thanks and please help me anytime it looks like I might need it!

hi all of you
 i'm lenny and i want to give you a big welcome.  i was scared too when i first got here cause i'm pretty shy. but after i started talking a little its a lot easier and i'm not so scared. i still get a little afraid in the chat rooms cause its hard to keep up sometimes and mostly people are more older then me. but every body is real nice to me and makes me feel good. i know they will be nice to you to. i hope you like it here and any one of you could write to me when ever you need to. heres some ice cream for all of you who want some to make you feel really welcome  from me lenny lee

Welcome to P.C.! You will find this a place where you can share your concerns with understanding and supportive people. It is also a place where you can help others by sharing your own experiences and offering support. To those of you who are scared, just watch for a while and when you feel ready, write a few words or have someone write for you. You'll be surprised by the wonderful responses you will get. I hope all of you will be comfortable here, feel supported and, in the process, make some terrific new friends. Again, welcome! RR
