We just got a call back from the T's receptionist and will put a call into the T tomorrow. The Host's grandmother is VERY upset with us trying to get the help we despertly need! Can you belive it? We don't think she cares at ALL!!!

The T called us back and is full, so she put us on a waiting list. We think we will wait and see what happens with her before we contact the other T, unless you all suggest something different...

i think i would keep seeing the current-T until new-T calls us back. sometimes waiting lists can be very long.

We're kind of tired of being on a waiting list, because we're sick of saying "aw man, T!" every week, when we should be saying, "all right! T!" So after the appointment today, we are going to call T # 2! Wish us luck!!

Here's the scoop now: We told Host's mother about new T, and she said to cancel the appointment, so she could take us at a time that works for her. We will probably not see the T untill after we get back from Oklahoma, but at least there's still hope...

Yesterday, Host's Mother said she would talk to the T over the phone and then call us back, and if she didn't call back by 3:30, to call her. It is currently 3:19 and no word back. We're nervous, because the fate of us seeing this new T we like is in Mother's hands...

i'm sorry it didn't work out usually a DD diagnosis is given by a psychologist or a psychiatrist after an interview. (but this is done in the context of finding out whether you can work or study)

that's a real crock but please keep looking. you know how it went with us, this is our 3rd time trying to find help, still not right, still not believed. so please keep looking, you will find someone.

I agree....it has to stop!! BUT....you need to take responsibility for talking with your T's and stop giving that responsibility to the hosts mother or grandmother.

It is sooooo obvious that they are attempting to hijack you care and keep you ill. They are getting something out of keeping you sick...all the while telling you that you are wrong or bad. Who knows what kind of crap they told that T!!!

YOU need to speak with the T's and let them know what's happening. NOT your mother or grandmother.

Until you set the boundary and take over your own care, they will keep holding you down and you will not get the help you need or deserve.

I know you have an LD, but you have already proven that you are capable of taking control of your treatment. That is an important part of your healing.

DON'T GIVE THAT UP!!!!

Wondeful news! We called the T back and she said as soon as The Host turns 18 (October 29), she will take us! Oh, what a happy day indeed!
