G'day and all that stereotypical stuff to you on the other side of the globe! Welcome Alexandra_K!

What a relief to finally have a dx that is workable, eh?

Good to see you and hope your time here is both productive and supportive.

kindly,

Thanks everyone for helping me feel really welcome here.

I have lots of questions...

I thought of something I wanted to ask today...

But right now it is 4 in the morning...

Hmm. Lets have a go.

This stuff is quite new to me.. I have a little one. I'm worried about her. Worried that she'll get hurt somehow and that she really won't be able to deal with that. I'm not sure whether there is a standard answer... But is she little because she doesn't know about the bad stuff. Or is she stuck there because she remembers??

I guess I am thinking the former.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe she's stronger than I think.
I don't know...

Must go to sleep now.

Night night peoples.

that's a really good question, alexandra. internal children are very precious and very complicated. she'll let you know when she's ready, but more importantly...when you're ready Welcome Alexandra_K!

you have an internal system set up to protect her Welcome Alexandra_K!

gl,

kd

I have little ones who are little & stay that way 'cos that's when they came out in response to a trauma. My 11 y/o had aged a little when I was getting better, but has since reverted back to age 11. I have heard stories where some littles do age. It just all depends on the individual.

Hi Alexandra_K .....And Welcome. I am sorry I am so late with this. It was not intentional at all.

As to your question....the posts above are as close an answer as you can get. Each system is unique and special. I think you will find the "littles" are protected very well. They sometimes get scared but there are those to protect them.

Take care and pm any time. We are here for each other to help and support.
