We didn't go to school today, for we are ill with the flu.
In fact, we won't be going untill we're no longer ill, because the school dosen't want anyone ill going there!
It's terrible to be ill, but at least we get to stay here all day, as long as we don't have that sudden urge to sleep, lie down, or vomit.....

Hello!
Boy, do I have an ironic story for you!
The teacher bought calculators, put numbers on them, and assigned one to every member of the class (they are to be turned in at the end of the class)....we got # 5! Get it?! 5? Box 5? Phantom? Ironic, hu?
On a side note, I kept getting my butt kicked in gym, so Webber Erik came out to help...it was actully WORSE for him! poor man!
ttyl!

i'm sorry school is so difficult a situation for you.
i would give anything to go back and have the opportunity to learn
all i missed back in high school.
i'm not sure if it is the Ericks who front in school or your host that does--
but perhaps you can look at it as an opportunity and a gift instead of drudgery. And if the ones fronting already know the material, perhaps you can show that you can excel and you can take the opportunity to learn more.
there is never enough learning......
Just my thoughts.

The Host doesn't come out at school.
All we were doing is complaining about how hard it is to go back to school after a break longer than two days

Hello! (Yeston)Erik here!
I rode the treadmill in gym today, and I made the body loose 58 calories.
I was tired after a while, but I enjoyed it!

Hi, I'm Benjimen (or Ben), and I'm a Narnian fox.
Today I played Regular Basketball and Knock out in gym, and I must say I'm good!
Who says animals can't play sports?
Tc, everyone!

Don't you think she needs to be the one who is out at school?
I mean, she is the one who the school is there for after all.

She says she prefers to stay inside with us....that's just her choice. We all respect it. There's nothing worse than forcing someone to do something. Besides, when we're out (at least for us Eriks), it gives us a chance to feel like normal men...

Today Host was triggered at school.
The ONE class she braves it! FIGURES!!
It was in writing class, and they were reading a short story. It mentioned cancer, and it upset her terribly (because of what happened in OK this Summer). She had to leave the room & broke down crying in the hall!
She even had to call the Grandmother for support.
PLEASE send her your love,,,

This is okay I guess....but what about the Host's opportunity to feel like a normal teenage girl?

You men have lived your lives and passed on already...several times, it sounds like. The Host deserves a chance to be young and have as functional a childhood as she can.

It sounds like that, in a way, you live at the expense of your Host. You like to be out to "feel like normal men" but in general, alters are not self serving, they are there to benefit the Host...not themselves. They thrive on secrecy in order to protect and typically don't tend to flaunt being out. Actually...it can be quite uncomfortable for alters to BE out around others and they tend to want to hide...unless they are needed for protection.

I just feel sorry for the host is all. She is missing her teen years.

Sorry if I offended...just trying to understand.

You didn't offend....
Host wishes to spend her teenage years among friends, with as little pain as possible, which is what being inside provides.
As for the "living like normal men"...YES, we lived our lives, but they were TERRIBLE! We love the fact we can walk around unmasked and people can see the real us!! People LIKE us now!!

we too share our concern for the well being of your host. i guess each system works it's own way, and this is yours---i just hope that she is really able to have some of the fun and share some of the spotlight....
