Becky has been trying to come out more lately, and maybe it's me trying and wanting her out as well but my head is KILLING me every day and the pain doesn't last that long, about 10 minutes each time but it goes away and comes right back, sometimes after the headache she'll come out for a little bit but most of the time she doesn't. Anyways, I don't like taking medicine and don't want to have to take medicine 10 times a day so anyone have any ideas on how to make these headaches go away?

I got headaches alot when I was switching out of being an alter but medications didnt help. my doctor said it was because I wasnt having a physical headache from stress or migraines, it was a physical headache from a mental disorder so nothing was going to fix it. All he could do was recommend my doing some calm and slow activity and it would stop on its own. I started timing the headaches and they never lasted more than five minutes after I started doing something calm and relaxing.

Everytime I switch or lose time, when I come back I have a fierce headache that no medicine can tough. Also when I am trying to talk and others are putting pressure on my head or trying to come forward to be heard and I fight them to stay back, I get fierce headaches.

There are no meds that will help. Maybe she wants to come out and say something or just look around. Usually when I let them out and after they go back, in a little while----my head lets up and stops hurting.

That is all I can say to let you know what it is for me. I do hope your head stops hurting. I know how it can hurt. Take care of yourself. Sending you gentle hugs.

Kris,

We got headaches during our time with our T. Usually we were switching back and forth or talking to a number of parts and got the headache from all the back and forth. Our's were not as bad as your's sound and they just went away on their own after we quit switching.

I sympathize with you because I've had really awful headaches many times in the past and I wish I could help somehow, but I don't know how. Maybe you could talk (out loud) to Becky and tell her how it's affecting you and maybe she can take a bit longer and not just bust out so quickly... I do know that I don't get them as often now as in the past, so I think you will not have them forever!

Pressure behind the eyes. Same time frame. Usually someone looking to come out.
