(((((((((((( Little Wee, Kiya )))))))))))

What is going on? Something so freakin' as to make you switch and cause so much fear.

Please know we care and want to give some comfort but feel a little unsure as to what would be best.

What kind of test would it be and maybe someone could offer some helps?

wes don'ts wanna gets in theres and theys sayd you gotta have exam. we goota nknow what happnts first.

hmmmm maybe i can call and leave her a message.... that would be a good parenting thing to do. tell her my system is panicked and needs exact detailed info about what to expect.

Calling first sounds like a good idea to me. Something to think about, not all physical exams do scary or embarrasssing things to you. Sometimes it means asking lots of questions and listening to your heart and taking your temperature and pulse and stuff like that.

The Psych nurse will not do bad stuff or scary stuff and will tell you what she is going to be doing before she does it.

Maybe you can get one of Kiya's big people parts to ask the questions you need before you go?

I don't think it is going to be really bad or awful. I think maybe it will help.

Most of us feel scared the first time we do anything or meet new people. I hope you will not be scared.

Sometimes in NeuroTalk you can get some answers. Not sure what your test is but that was such good self-care (to call the Nurse).

Do keep asking those question and we're here for you, dear one.

I am still fretting over this. Talked with a friend today about it too who has been thru it and i brought up the whole "need physical" piece. She'd never had one with it, but had spent so much time in hosp ER that she never needed one. I've not actually had one in at least 4 or 5 years (i avoid them ever so much), since my current doc has never required one... and my friend said they might need one in that case... soooooooo i started fretting again.
MEMO to self - remember, we called, we're waiting for a call back. Don't panic yet!!!

(((((((((((BBear)))))))))))) Yep... this wed i am hoping for a call back. The next wed after that, I see her. @_@ I will try to remember to talk with my T also, because she is also a PNP, RN, as well as PsyD. And it is her clinic. She should know and be able to help me some. In fact, I think I see T after the PNP, same day (i hope it doesn't get moved, as can often happen with night apnts.). Hmmm looking at my calender, i didn't even write down what time I see the PNP. I want to say 2pm. Which leaves lik 5 hours between PCP and T *sigh*. I ought to try to move it closer.

Sooooooooo the call back was frustrating. First, what she heard/translated from my saying "I am DID and my system of alters needs to know what to expect in the appointment so we don't panic" was "all the alters need to speak to her" - that was what she told my therapist Second, she said there are already too many dr's on my team (there are 2; one Physician's assistant, one PsyD) and too many perscribers (only the PAc has EVER perscribed me ANYTHING) so she thinks there are "too many cooks in the kitchen, as it were" and won't perscribe me anything - she'd only be in a consultation role, "that is, if you still want to keep the apointment; if you think it is still worth your time, I will be more than happy to meet you."

Why is it that no one seems to get this? Is it REALLY this complicated????
Basic facts (which it seems to me the PNP should know since she READ MY EMAILS back and forth to my PAc grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ):
I am on 2 meds. count them; two. one AD and one for anxiety.
I see 2 (two, ah ah ah) practitioners. one "dr" and one "t"
The "dr" (read here PAc) has decided I am too complicated and need to see the PNP. The PNP thinks that really the PAc has a better understanding of me, is doing fine, and that I "can just stop taking the axniety med" if i "want too".
The T thinks i need to get out of my abusive house.

The whole reason I am even in this position is that the PAc had to up my anxiety meds because i couldn't work. So i can't work without them, but with the side effecs, i shouldn't be ON them, and the three practitioners already had a convo about me and.... that seems to be all there is to it. That call back was the result of their hallway meeting.
HELLO!!!!! Doesn't ANYONE see a problem here?!?!?!

Those people dont know what each other is doin'!! What 's up with that?

Your psych nurse needs to talk to the pac team IF she has an issue. If they think you can just stop taking the anity anxiety med they are crazy!
Is any body listening to you on your team? Maybe your main T can calm them all down cause it sounds like they're having the problem & you are being responsible. Good work on your part!
Thanks for this!

I know - i couldn't be more frustrated with this. And each time i start to voice my concern in an email, i give it up as a bad job. I guess i am just going to wait until wed and see what happens.

It was just fine - actually better than fine. turns out everything went smoothly, she liked that i came prepared with all my meds and supplements written out, as well as my concerns. she is going to slowly take me off the the AD, then slowly take me off the buspar, then put me on something else... lamitical? sounded sorta like that.
interesting woman, very fast moving in her thoughts, actions.
will help me get on a financial plan for the new med.
