Yo!

Tomorrow morning I have to go across the street to the hospital where I used to work to have an invasive (TEE)ECG...
It involves sliding down a camera-operated tube down my throat & O2 thru the nose. "Celeste" is the one of our selves that usually, impulsively ODed on a weekly basis for awhile.........back in the "old days" She is wound in knots b/c no matter how much we try to get her to "go elsewhere" for awhile........It's just like Rape PTSD.....your entire body goes into "Eject"......I don't care if I see Alice in Wonderland & the White Rabbit himself, NO tubes down our throat and/or nose!!!!!

I'm scared & should have posted earlier; the check in time is 0900 & procedure at 1030......sedated or not.......how do you keep a very STUBBORN & PANICKED "alter" from grabbing the doc bt the throat & threaten to strangle him & wind up doing a tour of our own psych ward???? Too little, too late................. Too little, too late.................

In Panic: w/ Too little, too late.................anyone who responds...DAYZEE9 Too little, too late.................

(((((((((nothemama8!!))))))))))))

Thanks for the quick response; unfortunately most doctors in my area (this hospital) no longer "believes in" MPD/DID.....
You tell the doc you're a multiple --- how much do you think he'd sedated you??? But thanks....it was really sweet of you to respond so quickly! Too little, too late.................

Can you ask to have it done under general?

Nevermind, they need a totally different set up to do that, don't they?

Wish I had the magic words to tell you. I understand completely. Been going thru my own medical h*** right now. Wish there was some way you all could go inside together and no one be present. Don't hurt the doc too much and tell us how it went.

You don't have to say MPD/DID, just say you have a past of trauma & that procedure won't work well w/ you. Hey, if dentists can understand things not being put in the mouth, they should be able to.
Love,
