i don't get it. this isn't right. there's nothing right about it.

my father died less than a month ago. my cousin has a very serious cancer scare yesterday, and now...my father-in-law was rushing to the hospital for his heart!

ok, let's top this one off...let's just pull all the triggers out! he's in the hospital and i'm supposed to care? i had the SOB arrested, and i'm supposed to care???

triggers, triggers everywhere. there's so much activity inside me that i'm afraid to move from the puter and games. i have to keep the body and mind busy to keep some peace and prevent complete dissociation. there's alot of angry here. it could get ugly.

when will it stop?

kimmy you are totally correct that there is nothing right about all this!!

This is too much all at once w/o a break anywhere in between.

Staying in contact with ppl through the computer that are safe is a good idea. I like the idea of games as well to occupy the mind and hands.

Are there any lists readily available to read about getting through times like tonight? Any links to fun sites? Links to calm sites?

I know the anger is scary. I also associate anger with the word ugly. I've been told by really smart ppl who know these kind of things that anger doesn't have to be ugly. I think they're probably speaking truth..........that truth just hasn't sunk into our system yet. Sounds like you're in a similar place perhaps.

As to your question at the end? I don't know when it will stop. I do know that the lighthouse has staff to care for the self/ves when things get as hectic as they have been. I have total faith in your system as you've all gotten yourselves this far.

Continue following your good instincts of staying safe, staying in touch and communicating as best you all are able.

with kind concern,
__zh

I'm so sorry everything seems to be toppling down on ya. You're holding your own pretty well considering.
You don't have to care your fil is in the hosp. He doesn't even have to be in your thoughts. & you don't have to explain to anybody why.
Love,
RM

I'm keeping you in my thoughts. It is really hard to stay grounded when there are so many triggers and so many thoughts. I don't know your story, but I empathize with your pain. What else are you trying to stay grounded?? It is so important that you take care of selves.
You can PM me if you want.

i'm sorry that it's so hard.
Please be gentle with you, give yourself permission not to feel anything if you need to in order to survive.
Sometimes everything is too hard and dissociation is not such a bad thing.

Please take care of you.
Love,
kerria

Not a fair situation in many areas of the psyche' Hospitals so soon must be un-nerving; "the creep" who is suffering for his own misgivings will "get his in the end". (No preachin'; it's called "kharma" (which I study)

In case you're really desparate; try out this web site...once you delete the obnoxious flashing banner; there's a lot of laughs; inspirations, smileys,& love....

Just for a diversion..........
