I have a female friend who has an male alter. This alter is adult and sexually active. He has severe self image issues.
Is there anyone here living with an alter of the opposite sex? Can anyone offer them support? |

Welcome Poseidon.
i'm confused about what you mean. Your friend can post here. Anyone with DID can come and receive support. Take care, kerria |

I agree. I think if your friend is able & wanting to, she should/ could come here.
Me, I have male alters. Real people don't notice when I 'switch'/ dissociate 'cos my 'people' are just like me. Real people just think I'm moody, they don't think, Gee, she's a multiple! Unless they know me real well, they just don't see. For one thing, I don't allow people to see my alters. I have a deep fear of being sent away (even tho I have never been hosp.). Let your friend know she's welcome to come here. You are as well. We'll help as much as we can, but we need more info. Love, RM |
