Stargate fan wanna be

Okay, I tried to watch Stargate and it's like I am watching the family down the street have a family conversation. I haven't a clue what is going on and who is who and (whine, complain) I want to understand. *who be that talkin'?* All those people have a history I feel like I'm too little 'cause I didn't watch from the start.

I liked a Stargate movie some years ago so I'll probably like this TV series but I guess I'll have to rent the TV version. Hasn't it been going on for a number of years? Where do I start???

I cannot get the HULU b/c it is outside of my area.

When you get to that page under pouplure tv shows SG1 and SG-Atlantis should be there.
They have the whole series available until may. Give that a try it is so cool all of us are watching it from the beginning.

lol, hunny. I felt the same way about Lost. Even though everyone seems to think it's the best show EVER, I wasn't about to start watching several seasons in. I don't like to be confused!!

Lol, yeah, I wish I was a more loyal fan but life being what it is, not every part of me liked Stargate, who knew?!. Some preferred Masterpiece Theatre, some...oh I could go on and on, lol.

My family really likes Lost but said don't even bother to start watching it in the middle. Somehow though, I think once I watch a couple of Stargates, I'll be able to 'get it'. But in order to watch I either have to rent or do some work-around on the computer to be able to access US films. Hmmmm, maybe I'll rent.

Someday I have a plan to rent Lost from beginning to end too. We'll see.

This is the site to see the episode SG-1. Avatar is about a person facing his strength and weakness in a virtual reality game. Teal’ic is a person that is helping the programmer to make a training module for incoming solders.

If you want to though you can watch these shows that reflect the way we are feeling inside. We may be able to write long stories and short responses to others post but at times it is nice to be able to say this is how we feel inside without going into detail of the drama of my/our life.

In this show you can see Teal’ic arrogance in his ability to overcome the challenge of the game. But after each failure, he was able to learn how to move around the different obstacles. The game it self is able to see and learn and change so that each time up to a point it is a new game. It is not until Teal’ic accepts the help from one of his team members and willing to take a chance with other game players that he is able to overcome the game.

For a lot of us that deal with DID/MPD we are just as arrogant as Teal’ic. Each of us that has grown and heal do have the edge of knowing that we have survived that which many could not have. But it is truly made harder when the game is being played in reality. For those of us that are still being abuse by those that know how to use our coping mechanism against us. It is just like the game being reseat again. Even when we are just dealing with memoirs of alters that are learning not to be afraid no more. It is exactly like the game being reseat each time regardless if it is an alter learning not to be afraid or an alter coming to the surface in response to current abuse.

For us it allowed us a way to help explain what we are going though and not go into detail about our life story. But if you can allow your imagination a little freedom you just might be able to see the similarities in our lives to a TV show.

I have just started watching the episodes when the ORI (?) have come into it. Beau Bridges is now in command. Teal'c seems to loosening up a little. They just found a treasure under some place in England after solving some puzzles.

There is a new female pirate involved....... cant work out if her Name is Vala or Bala.????

In all there are about 200 episodes Hunny as there are 10 Series in SG1.\

Akshully Hunny it is much clearer if you can watch it from the start.... but you can still watch individual episodes.

I love stargate! And now there is star gate Universe. Though it is totally different than the original or Atlantis. They are stuck on a ship that is partly controlling itself. I've been watching stargate for years. It is best to start at the beginning. Hugs to all stargate fans! And everyone else too.
