Hey...there is an hour show on Discovery Health this week about the woman with 15 personalities. It is on tomorrow night (Monday) at 9 pm EST. It is part of Psych week on Discovery Health. I don't know how many of you are interested, but I am a little bit concerned that we be portrayed in a true sense. Let me know if you are watching any of the various themes. Tonight's themes were anxiety and enraged. Both really good.

Thank you Jewels for letting us know. I hope that this show will inform and educate the public about DID and not be something for others to question or doubt like so many do already. I don't know if our host's "outside" family is going to watch, but hopefully they start getting a clue about how real this is for us. Thanks.

IDK but I feel so much like her it is scary...and at the same time wonderfully validated...even though I am not co-conscious with my collection, I do know a bit about some of them, and I see them in the mirror the same way...Dr Ross, the psychiatrist in the film, is the one that started the Trauma unit at the hospital that I am going to be doing partial program at. So the therapists know how to handle DID...at least I hope they do. I found the interview of Paula a very good representation of what we go through on a daily basis. I think she did a great job in helping the general public know what it's like to be DID, and I would really like to talk to her. Chances are not good that I will talk with her, but golly geez, I sure would like to. My collection writes the same ways hers do, so I'm glad that my T has seen and read those writings for quite some time now. All in all, it was a good representation. What do you guys think that saw the program???

try going to discoveryhealth.com...there might be a you tube thing with it on...it was very well done. I hope you can find it.

discoveryhealth.com and in the box on the left hand side there is the video about the program that aired tonight. They are actually doing another run of some of the points of the video right now. Let me know if you find it....

Hi Jewels,
The channel repeated it at 11:00 EST and I did watch it. I haven't see a lot of shows about DID, but I felt this one was pretty acurate. At least for me. I did feel sad, especially when int****** was mentioned. Anyway, thanks for letting us know about the show. whimsical |

We tried to find it but only found the listings for showing on tv can some one post the actual address for us. It would really help those that can't find it .

WAS a very good representation of those of us with DID...it can be watched on discovery but I'm not sure how....I am trying to figure it out so you all can watch it...when i figure it out i will come back here and let you guys know how to get to watch the whole thing...
