My name is Snodders and part of Audrey and I got a bad time at the weekend. Been crying and trying to be big because I am 13 and should know better not to be crying. And I told my mummy (the lady that Audrey sees) about this place and she says Ive got to be very careful here and make sure no one is bad to me. She says I to keep my eyes open and wits about me to be sure this is a safe place. Is it safe here?

You can tell your mummy that this is a very safe place. I have been to lots of other places a bit like this and not all of them were safe. I think this one is. Your mummy is right, though, to tell you to be careful. We should all always be careful online because you can't be sure people are who they say they are. Also we can't see their faces when they talk to us, or hear their voices to know how they sound. So sometimes we don't understand each other properly. When / if we don't understand properly we need to ask questions if we are not sure. That is hard to do sometimes.
I think this forum (DID) is probably the safest one here. Lots of people look out and make sure the littles here are very safe.
I'm sorry you had a bad time at the weekend. It's OK to cry no matter how big you are. We all need to cry. Want to talk about the things that made you cry?

Caroline, a bad lady said something rude to me adn I dont understand why. All the time she has something rude to say and has even grabbed me and done some things that hurt. I get afaid and that I have accidents and people might want to laugh at me about that. I get shaky and nervous and end up crying and thats what happened to me. Rudeness made me cry and its not just being cheeky rude, I mean rude things around things that big people do with their bodies. Oh I dont like to hear what the bad lady says to me and I wish she would leave me alone.

I'm sorry she hurt you and that you don't know what to do about it.

When I feel unsafe or like crying I try to go to one of my special safe places. Do you have a safe place you can go to?

Ive got the other girls (iris, allison and Adele) to talk to and I got my dolly Peggy to play with. I like to be in bed with all the others and cuddling our dollies. I have to wait until Audrey comes home from work before I can go to bed. Oh my goodness why does the bad lady keep coming at me. Its making me sad and I just want to be a decent gril and be left alone.

Its very nice of you to talk to me. Are you OK about talking to such a girl as me because Ive had to do some bad things and Im all full of disgust and shame. I dont want to be ruining anyone or you maybe getting all ruined being around me.

Of course I am OK about being with you.

You won't ruin anyone.

I'm just sorry you feel you had to do bad things. That's not your fault though. Sometimes other people make us do bad things and we can't change that.

Your mummy was correct to warn you about safety and online forums. The moderation here is conscientious toward safety yet let's not forget that what is safe to one may not be safe for others.

There comes personal responsibility for safety as well. With a system/family/circles/whatever it is one calls their inners/alters additional needs for safety usually exist.

Please listen to your mummy and talk with her IN DETAIL about who your system allows to post here and the pros and cons of such.

This CAN be a safe place for some in some people's systems and a scary place for yet others.

Please take necessary precautions for the safety of your system here and take personal inventory of who in your system can handle online interaction.

I think it is very normal to be nervous posting for the first time in an online forum. It can indeed be scary sharing personal information and feelings with "strangers" but like your mummy said just be aware and keep your wits about you all when it comes to disclosure.

It is also very normal for those inside to feel they've said too much or shared too much when they aren't used to using their voice. It gets easier with practice.

Take your time and no rush on expressing what you have to say.

Sorry to hear you are upset. I hope you can do a little calming breathing and try to relax just a bit.

Hi Snodders--I'm Vicki. I'm 14. I know about being nervous and stuff. I know about hearing bad yukky stuff too. And doing stuff that makes you feel bad. It has been safe here for me and everyone been nice. Make sure like zh said that it's ok to post here. w_i lets me when she thinks I need to. Sometimes I read stuff that I shouldn't and I get upset. w_i is making sure I don't read stuff first now she reads first and lets me if it is safe. hope you write again soon.

hello vicki, imagine anither girl being the same as me. Its hard to imagine that another girl would be the same age as me. Do you get nervous too then? I get shaky and cant get out of corners. I get upset at what I read sometimes and Audrey has to be careful with me when she is reading books.

Sometimes I have accidents but that doesnt mean Im silly. Its just that I ghet afraid.

I don't have accidents anymore, but deedee does. I don't think it's silly. T says that when kids get scared and really nervous, they have accidents. It's ok. I like corners to be in--cept sometimes I really want to get away and I can't. I can disapear though if I want. w_i and H made me a nice little room under the stairs I can go to if I am afraid or mad or sad. I take my blanket, stuffie, and paper and stuff like that in there. I can stay as long as I want till I feel better. Do you have a safe place like that?? I don't like scary things. My favorite book is Alice in Wonderland. Did you ever read that?? It has some scary stuff, but it's still neat.

Whats your stuffie like. I got a doll called Peggy. My mummy gave her to me. I got a blanket too. I can disappear too. I normally do that when I get very frightened. Oh im so very embarassed about accidents. Im not stupid, i just get afraid. My mummy says its because Im so afraid and thats whiy I have accidents.

Ive never read Alice in wonderland. I dont like scarry things either. Being scared hurts. I dont like it vicki.

Hi snodders! i'm so glad you got up the courage to post here. i think you are very brave for doing so. please do not feel embarrassed or silly. accidents happen. it's ok. i am sorry that you had an upset but i am glad that you have your dolly peggy and you have the other girls to help you through it. if you want to talk, you can PM me like adele does. i would love to talk to you.
