I am planning on going back to work, some of my alters don't want to go.
and I need that job,

I have been feeling down lately ,
I am confuse and lost, have so many decisions to make and
don't know how to confront them.

I've been four month out of taking pain killers, but during these days
is all I have in my mind.

I know I should know better and be strong, but feel so weak

Dear Genn,

All I can do is offer you some support. I know what it is like to have the argument going on in your head and to feel the most anxious winning an argument you are desperate to win yourself.

I bribe my axiousness when I have to leave the house to go out to the doctor; I promise some chocolate, a special sandwich, or some other treat. I guess I am talking to my 3 yr old alter...she always comes out when it's time to say no but I don't know how to...just reading and responding is turning lights on for me regarding did...

I'm not suggesting you bribe your alters, I guess I'm wondering (and please forgive me if this is way out of line because this is new for me), if you can have a round table conference with them? I do with mine at times and we do reach conclusions that suit everyone at times, especially at important times,

Best of luck with the new job and the plusses it brings to your life,

Rhiannon

I agree with Rhiannon we do the same thing when there is an issue that is effecting all of us. I call a meeting to discuss the issue and allow everyone to have their own views and feelings heard. We try to come to a solution that meets everyones needs but definetly communication is the key. I also suggest to the others inside here that they write down their concerns that way nothing gets forgotton and if they do not feel able to voice it themselves they can give the peice of paper so they are still heard.
