You are NOT stupid. How are you suppose to you if it is a safe place or not until you click on it? It is not your fault. It something that happened. It could have happend to anyone. Does that make them stupid?

Hi KYAngel,

That can happen to anyone. You did not intend for it to happen. This is how we learn things. Smiles.

You're NOT stupid! I myself was triggered by helping Sharon (Core's grandmother) this morning!

That wasn't stupid at all! You were doing research and trying to be proactive in helping yourself. That was a very smart thing to do! Unfortunately, triggers can hide in sneaky places. Now you know that's not a safe site, you won't visit it again.
Take a break until you are feeling stronger, by all means. Then don't be scared away from doing research and trying to help yourself. These are wonderful brave things to do!

Ky, I agree with Gr3tta...and the others. You were doing what you needed to to heal. It is a honest mistake, we have all done it, I am sure.
I triggered MYSELF...opening up to my husband about what I am going through, I felt really silly. I did not realise I was in such an emotional place and did not have my "mask" up. Scred him to death, I felt so bad. But we live and learn.
Many hugs...
(He fears for my safety and health, not that my condition scares him. I ahve had a heart issue since I was 12...)

((((Kyangel))))

Thank you for posting and for reaching out. I agree with the others that you were not stupid but trying to help yourself. Sometimes we happen across web sites that do trigger us and sometimes the self helps will trigger you. You are learning and you are trying to help yourself that is a good thing.

Maybe give yourself a break and do something nice for yourself. You deserve to be treated nice and you deserve to be heard. We are listening and hear you. We care and are here for you. Sending you gentle hugs and loving thoughts. Always.
