Hello Everyone!

I would like to give you all a gentle reminder that self care is extremely important here at PC and very much so in this forum.

There are so many reasons to be triggered here and we hope that each one of you will do what you need to do to care for yourselves and to handle your triggers as best you can.

Sometimes we need to put a member on ignore for awhile if we find that their discussions are too triggering for us. Sometimes we need to stay away from the forum for short time until we're feeling less triggered and a bit stronger. Sometimes we may want to report something to the team that we think is against PC's posting guidelines, and that's okay to do.

The important thing is to make for yourself, the best experience you can have here. Of course, no one can handle your triggers for you, that is up to each member to be responsible for. Please take good care of yourselves today and always. You are all important and cared about.

With Care,
_sabby_

Thanks for this!

Yes, thank you for reminding us all Sabby.

Self-care is an important line of care... in addition to other things, like therapy/therapist, medication if needed..etc... etc...

I do wish the "button" had another name though....... -- ignore-- seems so unkind. maybe the "behind a cloud button"..... think I will refer to it that way. I never mean to hurt anyone-- just know it's so very very important to keep self safe. and so I must use that button from time to time.

i would just like to say to people who go sit in Support Chat, all alone, and no one comes, (we are all in the lobby having a good time), that it is just our turn to recharge. it's not that we don't care, we are empty, and need to be with people who fill us up. please don't begrudge us that, or we will never be able to come and listen when you are in need of support. if you can, come and sit with us, just listen, don't envy us, we are as needy in our own way as you are. i know it's hard to be wishing for help, and see others appearing to have no troubles, having a good time, being selfish. but i ask you to be kind to us, also. let us have our little time together, and if you can find a way, join in with us, maybe you will find a little of the joy we find together, too. {{{{{{{{lonely ones}}}}}}} Gus
