Not letting things get to you is better. Genuinely not caring though is worse. You lose something, I think. Wishing you all the best!

Take these ((((((((())))))))) and wrap them around you. As tightly as you can but not feel trapped. our hearts are with you and stand between you and what is out there, OK? You don't see them, but they are there. Can you feel your heart beat?
Well, it's beating now, and where you are, and mine is beating here and now too. That's where we both are. Here. Now. Take that shield, that we are here. Now. Can you feel that dear?
Thanks for this!

i feel very inconsequential...i am only important when someone needs something...i don't get why my kids have been off the last two days due to staff development and have gotten nothing done around the house...there are still dishes in the sink and I had them all caught up...am I expecting too much...i really don't want to care about it at all...just be ok with everything going to pot

Silentwhisper,

Everyone in a family can have jobs to do, from the youngest to the oldest. There are some good parenting ideas around. Have you looked around for some good ideas to work getting children and teens to help in a family.

Slilent, Maybe you can exsplain to your kids what is going on. Not loudly, or through tears. Just exsplain it to them calmly. make sure that they know it is seriouse, but get the messege accross. WIth teens in my high school, they feel really really bad and show compashon to there parents, but then and if there parents yell that compashion turns to gilt and hate. I sugjest just talking to your kids.

with each step there are those that wish that we would not care either.
but caring is what makes us more human then those that have hurt us.
please know that we hear you and understand.
sending shelds and tissues as those within cry and heal.
i don't want to care anymoreand more safe hugs
