i have a memory

T asked me to write positive things about me, this was the only way i could do it. feed back please?

I HAVE A MEMORY

I have a memory
of a little girl
bubbling with energy
she is quick to smile
and loves the world
her laughter brings joy
infectious to all

I have a memory
of a little girl
timid and shy
unsure of her world
imagining a life of joy
imagination serves her well
allows escape to heavens embraces

I have a memory
of an older child
afraid to live afraid to die
she grew to adore nature
to nurture and love
all that grows and lives
in natures secret world

I have a memory
of a young teen
rebellious and bright
ready to fight
to right the wrongs
the world has wrought
to makes things right

I have a memory
of a teenager
a lass of the streets
knowing the worlds pain
she learns to protect
hiding these secrets deep
she will fight to live

I have a memory
of a teen
she feels no pain
inflicts her own
she is unloved, yet loves
retains the knowledge
love she has in over abundance

I have a memory
of a young women
who believes in helping
she trusts the world
with all her soul
believes in goodness
that the world is right

I have a memory
of a young mother
she changes her world
for the love she feels
runs strong and deep
she must protect her young
and teach them well

I have a memory
of a college student
intelligent and eager
a passion to learn
a desire to help
to use the past
and help those like her

I have a memory
of a women
born of bitterness
despising the world
anger held inward
learning to protect
whats dearest to her

I have a memory
of an organizer
capable of learning from all
takes this and that
from all the rest
and passes it on
where it will help the best

I have a memory
Of an older women
Going thru life, a chameleon
Never knowing anything is wrong
Across country she finds herself
Now she knows help she must seek
She now fights to become whole

I am me
I am what the world sees
I am a shell encompassing all
I am afraid, yet I hope
I show the world
What it wants to see
While I try my best, to find me

though I am none of these
they are all part of me
for they are all
my memories

I am all of me
I am bubbling with energy,
with a love of life and all it holds
able to protect and willing to fight
I am intelligent and eager to learn
I put my life on the line for others
I go out of my way to help one in need
these are all things I am told
one day I hope to believe
all that others see in me

here's one more thing to add to your list of positive things: you bravely shared your words in public here on the forum.

what a hard assignment when one doesn't usually have a positive self image/images of selves.

your approach was perfect. you did what you needed to for expression.

with time, and maybe similar exercises from T, you'll be able to see the things that others see so clearly and that you wrote about so eloquently here.... </font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>

Thank You ll. It means much that you liked it. Yes, sharing it was hard, thanks for adding that ZH. Sorry its taken a few to get back, T has been getting a little harder, as we are finishing one area and getting ready to start another, and not sure i want to go there, keep going blank on it. my protecter is starting to come out to T, and i am NOT comfortable with her. Plus having to work on how i can love myself now? right. sorry, i wandered, again thanks all.
