Maybe it's because i havent slept but a few hrs each night for weeks. Had a migraine each day and under a lot of stress, but now i feel really strange. Almost drunk. Was super stressed and now something clicked and nothing seems real at all . Feel underwater and confused and i think my sister is visiting from 3 hrs away tomorrow and i dont understand why. How can i work like this. I feel panicky and sleepy at same time. This makes no sense.

sounds like you have crossed a line somewhere. lack of sleep and stress can do that. doesnt sound like you are able to function now. do you have a T? I would get in to see T/Pdoc asap to discuss what is going on with you before things get worse.

My T isnt very good. Saw her 3 times getting worse. She told me i should forget my traumatic past. Cant see family dr until january
when insurance cap resets. See T tomorrow she' s student at a clinic. Going to try and ask for different T or see if can get my T a better understanding of ptsd. Feel a little clearer right now but head hurts really bad and hear a little bit of voices.

do you have a pdoc you could call? im not one, but with what you described, if it were me, i would worry about having a psychotic episode. being able to sleep for a spell would definately help. do you have sleep meds prescribed to you?

No.i dont have pdoc. Is that psychiatrist? Ive never had that happen. Its normal for me to hear voices - im just hearing them more. I do have a muscle relaxant for headache. I can try that. Im worried bc sister us coming and house is dirty. Cant seem to focus to get it ckean. Dont understand why she is driving so far.

yup sleep deprivation can make you feel this way. I go through it every time I have to man the phones for a week where I work. I also go through this at times because I have insomnia, and other times due to stress.

talk to your treatment providers they can help you find ways to get sleep when you need it. So that this doesnt keep happening for you.

!!! I know how you feel right now..
i blame my issue (which is identical to what you describe up there, even down to the headaches and only a few hours per night) on being sick lately.. but i'm starting to feel better health wise, and yet here i still am in this.... weird incoherent fog...

*starts reading replies* Well.. minus the hearing voices things... I also have narcolepsy and went undiagnosed until just recently.. mainly because the situtaiton i got myself into causes more stress, and more issues which causes less sleep and more intence narcolepsy.. and it got so bad that i was having sezuires where i actually thought i saw and heard things, that really didn't happen, and usually i didn't even go where i thought i did. but after it happened I could TELL that something wasn't right and i could know that "it wasn't realy real". And im on quite a few of high dosed meds which they worried that problems might becomeing from the meds. ...

.. guess i should prolly go find my klonapin and take some to sleep for a good while (its so bad i have dark DARK color all around my eyes and on my eyelids. its so bad someone told me that I needed to learn how to put on make up properly cause i didn't do it right. and then another person was determined that i got punched in both eyes and was covering for someone.. but it's just that i'm only getting 2-4 hours of sleep a night, and it's every night.

main reason i writing this is so you kow your not a lone. also reading though this thread gave me an idea to why i dont know why i didnt think of on my own.

Thanks guys, i got a little more sleep. I can distinguish reality now which is always a huge plus. My sister came and helped me see dr without insurance and changed my meds a little. Try for 6 weeks then go back if still having trouble. Told dr have ptsd for first time, it was weird. Most i ever tell them is im depressed to get my medicine. Don't know why i told them, probably because i super out of it.
Think meds same either way.
