Hmmmmmmmmmm.... I know a librarian, and although the picture of sitting serenely reading books and stamping cards is what we have of a mental picture, things are quite hectic! Libraries are so busy having community projects these days that it's all very hectic and fast paced.

I know this is a bit off the main topic, but thought I'd throw that in.

Busy day

Hugs,

Jan

I'm sure you are right, Jan. He was quoting national survey results to me but I am aware they don't give the full picture!

Please don't take it the wrong way. Life has changed so much that everybody is super busy! It was just a comment about life in general, really. I had thought about getting my master's in library science, but it just isn't my particular cup of tea, although I love to use the library. Busy day

Hugs,

Jan

I wonder if there is such a thing as a stress free job?

I mean, some surgeons I work with feel no real stress. Except when things go south. Then others, well they just really feel stressed all the time.

Even gardeners, which I would love to do, feel stress with too much rain, not enough rain, too many jobs, not enough jobs, etc.

I imagine, it's all in how we handle it - however, there are jobs that are just too demanding and unrealistic and I think that is when the stress comes in. Too much work on one person is just too much to cope with, even if you love your job and have nothing else to do (like live). Busy day
