OK - trust - as regards other people and friends and my lack of memory or chunks of time... do your close friends say,"Don't you remember.......?" much? Sometimes the information they give me is sooooo NOT in my memory....... I find myself having a big wad to swallow in trusting them that "whatever" happened.

I have very few close friends because of my need for extreme honesty: which I depend upon to know where I am, AND have been, FOR REAL. Bull___t really muddies my muddles. So many people speak from convenience with no attachment to their words. (And it's amazing how many mean people actually lie to me cause they thnk it's funny......) ARGHHHHHHHH!!!! I just stay picky or stay out of it.

OK now the funny story: I keep an email account at Yahoo for junk I want: politics/petitions/sign ups, etc.. The junk I don't want comes to that adress as well, and piles up in the thing they call JUNK. The delete button is inefficient and for some reason won't clear if I punch" clear all". Very frustrating. I would choose to delete and be neat. Daily.

The Yahoo info page suggested ignoring the pile up. Sure, if yer the ignoring type..... but those rising thousands of unwanted "things" over there, in MY world, however slightly, bugs me. bugs the hell out of me.

Well, about two months ago, I have a vague memory of awaking in the night: turned my MSN TV2 on, pulled up Yahoo JUNK, erased said JUNK down to zero, shut everything back off, went back to sleep.

Morning came, I went to Yahoo, thinking I must have had a dream, and my JUNK was at 0, I was impressed. I've been trying to re-find this Loose Part ever since, (I bet it's the one who can do math that I haven't seen since I had meningitis and parts of my bain melted..... but that's another story.)

first yahoo - the clear all isn't for deleting. You know those white boxes along the sides of the email subject lines? Clicking - check all - will put a check mark in those white boxes and clicking on - clear all - takes the checks out of the white sqoares. If you want to delete the whole page of emails click on - check all - and then click on - delete. that will remove all emails on that page.

Friends telling I did things I didn't - no not on purpose but a funny situation did happen to that effect one day.

the phone rang I was asleep. I remember looking at caller ID and seeing it was my friend I put the phone down on my bed (too far asleep to put it on my head board) anyway when I finally woke up about three hours later I called my friend back and said I had already talked to her earlier that morning. When I dissociate there is always evidence be it a new shirt, new drawing, rooms rearranged and so on. So I went through my house looking to see what was changed to get a clue what memory piece I was in when I talked to my friend and I found nothing. by this time a couple more hours have pasted so I called my friend back and asked her if she knew what memory piece I was in when she talked to me and she said no but was sitll adiment we had talked, So I hung up and found my dissociation log and started filling it in

First thing remembered 10 am got dressed and called C back. She said I told her about this that and that. this morning.

last thing remembered 7am answering the phone, seeing on caller ID it was C then put the phone on bed and went back to sleep.

Now the trigger to my dissociating is always contained in the last thing remembered area. and I don't get triggered by phones ringing, or C

So I sat down totally confused and by this time it was after dinner and I had searched hi and low for any signs of my dissociating into a memory piece and found nothing. Suddenly the phone rings. its C and she says um you know that conversation you had with me this morning? It wasn't you it was so and so (another one of her friends) I was talknig to.

I started laughing as said "and now who is the one in la la land?" not me I've been in the twilight zone (tv series here in the USA).

I don't get mad when that kind of thing happens. Ive always all my life had people telling me I do things that I don't remember doing anyway. So when C did that it was just a normal thing for me. In fact when SKR was trying to figure out if I had DID before I disclosed to her that I had it she asked me if that kind of thing happens to me where people say I do things that I don't rember. Its just one of those things that comes with being DID.

myself, re Yahoo, oh darn, I said it wrong, but I did it right, all the little checks light up but nothing happens, I have to leave the last one on the page unchecked and it takes the rest..... its a mystery....

sure is. Its always taken all my checked email to the trash. my problem with yahoo is that when I try to compose I have the to slot and the subject line slot but no place to write the email. I notify yahoo through their questions area and they take their sweet time fixing the problem like by two weeks and then I have a working compose area for about a week and it goes kaput again. so I just switched all my emailing to one of my other email addresses and keep yahoo just for playing the games.

Try sending an email to yahoo through the questions area.- type in your question in the slot but word it so that it asks you if they answered your question then type in - not by a long shot. and a comments area comes up. Type in your problem and click send. eitherthey will fix the problem or email you for more information.

good luck.
