her parents say they notice weightloss an are very concerned.

how can we alts make sure she eats an keeps down n keeps cals help
do we have to eat for her? should she eat with her ed mentor?

Only you, your host and your treatment providers can tell you what you need to do to get your host to eat healthy. we dont tell each other what they should and should not do here on psych central we only share if we have had the same problems and how we and our own treatment providers worked out the problem...

my alters, treatment providers and I worked out our eating disorder problems with inpatient / hospitalization and out patient services.....

ed intake is what takes place when you or someone else signs you in to a mental facility that works with people with Eating Disorders (otherwise known as ed or ED)

intake consists of talking with a treatment provider, the treatment provider refers you by sending paperwork, then you go to the place, meet with the facilities treatment provider who interviews you by asking things like name address, phone number, emergency information and what is your problem/issues/ why do you need inpatient care. then you are taken up to the ward/unit that fits why you are there, then while you are in the facility you work on your eating disorder issues like why you are not eating or why you are purging what ever. some places also assign you a "buddy" who is the person that rooms with you and helps you to understand the rules and such. after intake is done you start the hard work of working on your problems, meeting with treatment providers who weight you in, develop at treatment plan and go from there.

querstion....this is online how are we supposed to protect you. we are just people typing on a computer just like you are. we are not in your home so we are not able to protect you from yourself or your host.

if you need someone to protect you from yourself, the other alters or your host you will need to call the police or your own doctors or your own therapists. they will send someone to your home to take you to the hospital where you can be safe from yourself, other alters and your host.

Im sorry but the same goes for if you are being emotionally abused by your other alters, your host or yourself.

we dont protect each other
we dont medicate each other
we dont perform therapy on each other

for those kinds of things you need to contact a doctor or therapist in your off line town or nearest town.

here on psych central all we

talk/post to each other about what we go through in our own lives
we tell each other whether we have the same problems as each other.
we tell each other what our own doctors and therapists are doing to help us with our own problems.

but everyone here takes care of their self, protect their self, we dont protect and take care of each other.

those that need others to take care and protect them have to contact their own doctors and own therapists to get that kind of help.

Im sorry I cant give you what you are looking for but its not allowed here on psych central. online groups like this are not supposed to be for things like protecting and taking care of each other.

there is a gray box at the bottom of the page that has numbers you can call if you are not feeling safe emotionally or physically. another option is call your police department and tell them you are feeling your host is being emotionally or physically unsafe to you.

she reinjured her lower back from the overexcercise its hurts us ball thats how much it hurts to move even to

Does she listen to you? Can you remind her that back injuries require rest and gentle movement to heal? If she enjoys exercise and wants to continue exercising once she is healthier and eating enough again, it's important that she take care of herself now, or some physical activities may become much harder.

One thing (this may be totally off base, or not)--Are you sure she is angry at you for eating for her? She may be more frightened at having "lost control" than really angry. Or perhaps frightened and angry, both.

I don't know you, but you seem to have a lot of strength. All of you together have gotten through a lot of stuff. Sooner or later, that strength will come through for you and things will get better.

we alts forced her to massage and vibrate over it etc nothin helps irs sore crys

Yes, it's probably a good idea to get medical care for your back. Unfortunately it does have to heal on its own, but a doctor might prescribe meds to reduce muscle tension or help with the pain. See if you can get her to agree to go to a doctor, rather than forcing her, though. It is much better to work together, if you can.

today she had a chiro consult and they think it might be a hernated disk or pinched nerve or structural issue they know bout her ed an overexcercise so they still want to work with hern they can do an intial appt as long as she brings a non persiable food items
