Just yesterday, I woke feeling funny (not ha-ha). I felt very removed from everything. There was a physical sensation of anxiety, I think.
![]() It felt as though I was thinking one thing, yet I would hear completely different words coming out of my mouth. As I pondered what to say, confused and anxious, I would hear myself talk calmly and lovingly without pause. Does this sound like DD-NOS? (That is one of my diagnoses) Or is it neurological, and I should talk with my epi Doctor? Please help if you can ~ Thank you!

(((Shez))) I'm not sure what that feeling is with you but I do know at times, I feel removed from the world. Seperated by an imaginary piece of glass. T says it's depersonalization. I don't even feel myself in my body. It's very weird. It couldn't hurt to talk to your doctor. That way you will know for sure.
I know it feels awful and I'm sorry. ![]() |

I recognize what you describing, it is difficult to say whether it is a symptom of DD-NOS or that it is neurological. I had something similar a few weeks ago it did not take very long, but I had just no feeling in my body and said the wrong words. Here where I live the doctors took it very seriously even though I have DD. They sent me straight to the hospital for a neurological examination. the results were good, they wanted to be sure that it was not something neurological. I think it was dd related. ![]() You must decide whether you want to let it be checkt, maybe you can discuss it with your doctor and see what he says about it? |

what I can do is tell you that if you googled your symptoms you will notice there are over a million different mental and physical health issues that this could be. also for some people what you are feeling is completely normal.... example I know someone who has the same problem as you and her treatment providers told her the problem is high blood pressure. Another person I know has these same symptoms and her treatment providers said its vertigo. I know a child who has these symptoms and his treatment providers said its an ear infection/sinus infection.... with in me these same symptoms were called by many different names depending upon other accompanying symptoms like psychosis, delusions, hallucinations, sleep deprivation, bipolar disorder, dietary deficiency, dehydration, depersonalization, allergies, sinus infection, ruptured ear drum, medication problems.....and many more diagnosis's.. to find out what this problem is with in you, you will need to contact your treatment providers, they are the ones that know you and your body and why you are having this problem. |
