I have constant extreme stress and emotions that are pretty much non stop, however sometimes for short periods of time I go blank at random where I feel confused, my body feels very lightweight and weird, my mind just stops and when I look around I feel like it's not reality and the world looks different. I dont usually have emotions when this happens other than confusion but no negative emotions. What exactly is this?

it kinda sounds like dissociation, maybe try google it to see if it fits, but with things like this it is always best to consult a professional, perhaps they can shed light onto what is happening.
i hope you find some answers soon ![]()

it's normal if you are dealing with a lot of stress to also experience dissociation. Do you feel like you aren't real as well? or is it just the environment?
If you feel like it's yourself mostly then it's depersonalization. If it's mostly your environment that feels unreal then it's derealization. It's all dissociation and you can have both derealization and depersonalization at the same time. If you only have it because of stress then it probably wouldn't be considered any kind disorder and could probably be connected to other problems you have. You should really see a therapist though to be sure. |

Im sorry but we can not tell you the answer to these questions.. we are not allowed to make a diagnosis of other members problems, therefore it is you that must tell us what your problems are called. that said we can tell you what the same problems you are having has been called with in ourselves.... my treatment providers have called these same problems in me by many different things...anxiety, stress, sleep deprivation, and many different mental disorder symptoms like if the problem was happening because of my depression/mania problems my treatment providers called it depression, mania, bipolar related psychosis.... to find out what this problem is called with in ....you....you will need to contact a treatment provider that is in your off line location...a medical doctor or mental health treatment provider like a psychiatrist or psychologist. they will be able to tell you if this is normal for you or if its related to any of your existing problems or if its a new problem or mental disorder. |
