Im a young girl in highschool and I'm extremely troubled with my alters.
For a while they were all gone. Like magic, they disappeared. But now they're back and I'm more confused now than ever.
(I feel like a hotel where alters just check in and out)

One of my new alters is a 19-22 year old gay man. I call him Skylar. He is the one who troubles me most because ME is completely lost when he is here. I don't know that I'm actually a young girl. I wouldn't mind Skylar as much if I was a boy. I get frustrated after he leaves because I wish I was Skylar on the outside. But I know i will never be.

I have another alter I need help with. I'm not sure what it is. I feel like it's a small child. But it's also very clever. It can't take over like my other alters. But this one "person" just lives inside and tears me apart. I zone out when she's here and tears just run down my face. It/she is like a horror movie but in real life. It's a creepy, scary, torturous alter who just makes me miserable.

If you have ANY advice, any at all, I would be more than thankful.
Please ANYTHING will help.

I didnt recognize your user name I was also a bit confused too because Dissociative type alters dont go away like magic. so I went back and read some of your past posts....

you have mentioned parts/alters before but it wasnt in reference to a dissociative disorder. it was a different kind of alters/parts that you said "were not rea" and that "you talked with people that were not there" and you catch yourself having conversations with friends that are not there (imaginary friends? having imaginary friends knocks out the diagnosis of having dissociative type alters here in the USA)......(here where I live and work this kind of alter /part is called psychosis/hallucinations/delusions please dont take this as a diagnosis, just saying what your alters would be called here in my own location.

with all that you have going on my only suggestion is that you contact a mental health treatment provider in your off the computer location. for me to suggest otherwise could possibly cause you more harm then good.

You sound like you are going through a lot right now. Hopefully your have a therapist who you can talk to and discuss all that is going on in your life. Either way I found that if I acknowledged the alter who was present and asked them what they were doing, most times they would tell me. Especially the little ones. The one who is crying and causing you such distress is in distress herself. Sometimes just asking her why she is crying, and reminding her that she is safe, helps her to calm down. Than at some point you and her may be able to communicate without her being in such an emotionally painful state. Talking to my alters, even the ones who wanted to hurt the body, has helped us to agree to try to keep every one safe. After all that is what we have always wanted, to be safe. If you don't have a therapist you may want to look into finding one. There are a lot of free mental services available in many communities that are also confidential given you age. I wish you luck. You are already doing the right thing by talking about what you are experiencing. Take care.
Thanks for this!

I know so little of these things, but I still wanted to say I'm thinking of you and wish you the best. Maybe you can ask Skylar to leave you a note if he has been around so you know what's been going on. Since he seems rather strong, maybe he can help calming the little child?
