What Happen:
[ I met a beautiful woman who happen to be highly intelligent, caring, and basically perfect in so many ways that she got me thinking that she was too good for me. Which is normal... I think.
Which I guess sent me down a rabbit hole....I started defining all her faults in order to heal my ego from believing I wasn't good enough.
I don't remember saying anything to her, except for our introductions and the regular get-to-know-you-chit-chat...but I know I said something terrible because the red wine she was drinking will not come out of my dress shirt.]

I have had moments that I don't remember but nothing like this. Usually I zone out and nothing happens. Im Not sure what happen to me.

Im sorry but we can not tell you what happened on your date. only you and this person you were on the date can tell you that,

what I can tell you is that this happened to me too and my own treatment providers told me with in me it was a completely normal reaction to a combo of things....anxiety/stress and dating, not enough sleep, mixed with alcohol can cause memory problems in me.

my suggestion if this continues to bother you contact a medical doctor or mental health treatment provider, they can give you a diagnosis of what happened and help you so that this doesnt happen again.

well, as i suspect you suspect, you must have dissociated and that is why you do not remember the event. i am so sorry this has happened to you. i am not one who loses time, or at least i find no evidence that i have lost time, lol. A little here and there like finding a few posts on PC that i dont remember writing but not much else, but sometimes i wonder. i was horrified to find out what i said to my daughter in law when helping her prepare for her wedding. she brought it up a couple years later. apparently i was staring at her and i said "there is something wrong with your face" (she is a beautiful girl) then i proceeded to tell her that her eyebrows were overtweezed. she tells me she was grateful for this because she agreed with me and had time for them to fill in before the wedding and she would have regretted the wedding photos if she had the skinny brows. LOL
