Susie has let me play on here for awhile. I'm Alysha, I've written a bunch of posts because I like to explain things in detail.

So let's meet everyone. I'll start. I've got so many, that many have no names because they are parts. Some just do their jobs. We got names for some but we've decided that since our memory is like messed up, we'd go by the job they do which makes better sense.

Susie- nurturer, homebody, empathic, sweet, loving, caring, compassionate
Steven- up tight, rigor, hard, control nut, no empathy, boss
Belinda- interior designer, work, creative
Bobbie- free spirit, fun loving, female relations officer
No one- abuse taker, quite, gentle, genderless
Billy- body protector, stands ground, fighter, fierce
Trebor- musician, rocker, guitarist, orchestra,
Julie- teen, relates to teens, loves shopping
Steve- corky, confident, male relations officer
Barbara- sex addict
Bobby- little, scared, afraid
Jackie- exercise guru
Karen- teen
Alysha- explainer, passionate, patient
Roberto- daring, fearless, renegade, being restrained
Sarah- Cook
Charles- I.T. guy, nerdy, fixes our computers
Roberto- sex addict
Hillbilly- host alter for hill living time past
Roberta- black woman, no shame, say anything

More named ones but not gonna go looking.

Mr Racer- race car driver, fearless, zigs zags in traffic, focused on driving
Ms Driver- cautious, does 55 in 60, always uses blinker, focused
Mechanic- fixes what he can on a car
Angry One- angry, hates stupid people, being restrained
Mr Intellectual- idea guy, strong minded, takes offense, hot head
Web Designer guy- built our work website, creative
Truck driver- drives company truck, co-hosts with upfront, allows for thinking and driving.
Mr Evil- he'll hurt Ya out of spite, nasty, being restrained
Denial alter- denies that we're MI, being restrained
Gardener- loves to garden, care for plants, most happy planting

And again, we're not going to list them all.

Most of us work in conjunction with each other to fulfill the needs required to perform daily life.

Anyhow, thats a few of them. I'm sure that we've not met a few yet. This is an ever growing list.

We take committee votes on most everything. Live round discussions. Have question and answer time. We share memories and knowledge, somewhat, not everyone pays attention.

I think I'm done. I've written how many essays in the past few days? Lol. Bye.

Alwayschanging2,

What an impressive list of alters! I'm still working on getting to know all my alters and what their functions all are. I've only been aware of my MI for about a year now, though the symptoms date back to when I was about 12. It may have even started around age 5-6, but I'm unsure. My condition is not as well developed as some peoples, but it is still very real. I'm using your thread as an excuse to really hunker down and sort out who my alters are.

Jen-the personality that I am most of the time. Has been dominate personality since about age 18.

Teenage girl Jen- she is loud, rebellious, sexually promiscuous, aggressive, overly emotional.

Emo Jen- sad, suicidal, weight of world on shoulders, cries all the time.

Angry Jen- yells, screams, is definitely a force to be reckoned with, blind rage.

Jen the comedienne- is funny, loves the spotlights, loves making people laugh, self defeating humor.

Evil Jen- loves to sabotage my every move, is working with my stalkers, has done many things to complicate my life.

Little girl- don't know if she has a name. Rarely comes out.

Spokeswoman- likes to tell everyone my dirty little secrets.

Sarah- I'm not sure who Sarah is yet. I'm trying to learn about her though.

As you can see my personalities don't really have their own names, and are not really well developed with their own identities. When they take over though it's like I have no control over myself and usually don't remember what they said or did right away. I can remember eventually but something has to trigger my memories and I really have to concentrate to get them back. It's either my teenage alter or the evil one keeps trying to convince me that I AM really an alter created at age 18 to deal with a sexually traumatic experience. I do remember a major personality shift at that age. Now my repressed personality that went into hiding says she wants out. I just want to merge into one identity but my condition just seems to be getting worse!

Good job Jen. My main alter is the alter leader that directs the system in a direction like a captain of a ship. The host alter is the alter up front the most. The rest do what they do. I haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg yet. I'm told that we have hundreds of alters in here, so we decided to go by job names. Getting to know your alters and loving them is a step towards healing. Good luck honey.

That's pretty neat Lana. I've gotten to where I'm listing them. Putting in some order of relationship should be next I guess. I've got parts, wholes I've yet to make sense of it.
I guess it's better to call them fragments.
