((((((((((( Zorah ))))))))))))

Sending all of you extra hugs and comfort. If I can help with lists or anything at all, let me know.

Moving is scary for anyone. It's very normal, but it is natural for it to be scarier for all of you. I like Kimmy's idea about the lists for the littles. That will be a good thing.

Love and hugs,

Jan

Can anyone reply to the post above ? please pretty people

Does this happen to others ?

This is an added complication to all the other dissociative symptoms & is confusing the hell out of us.

Does anyone know a way to distinguish sleeping dreams from dissociative experiences ? It is causing us a lot of trouble. HELP !!! confusion

Sometimes you can get vivid waking-dreams when understress or if you are not getting enough sleep. It is essential to get good REM sleep even if you are not getting deep sleep.

Take great care of yourself while this is going on, use grounding strats to get yourself back in reality. Simply touching objects around the house can help to orientate yourself back into the here-and-now.

I can get this as part of dissociation to, not feeling 'real,' again grounding techniques help and maybe stepping outside for a bit helps.

I have had vivid dreams in the past and I have never been able to sort out if they happened in reality or not. I know it is very confusing.

I don't know why they happen but perhaps they are helping you to work through changes in your life?

I have problems like KD's, only when driving (and on the way home from my therapist's) and would pass my exits off the freeway and be "lost" when I'd wake up.

Maybe being on the phone has something to do with it? Pretend it's a dream, what does being on the phone mean to you or make you think of? Who would you call and why?

I have an excellent memory (tested 99% sight memory) and recall so the "blackness" of not remembering is very scary for me. Hard to crawl back to before it started and try to remember what I was thinking about.

Maybe, if there's no alter it means you're processing things better, not going "as far" away.

Hi!

I have had problems with fugue, that is I have been talking to people, mailed people, phoned people and not remebered it at all. They told me about it afterwards. This was after my father was murdered and I was in a psychosis (I obviously told a lot of people my paranoid masterplot but I do not remember this at all). My brother had it too (fugue not psychosis). He even took a trip abroad and woke up in a foreign city having no idea how he got there or where he was at all ...
Do you have multiple personalities? Do you remember when some other part of you is talking? Because it would be impossible for you to know if it is fugue or another personality coming through? You have to ask someone who meets you when this happens, right?
