are their any events that make you think time is going too fast?

I recently heard someone say.... well, this game I have is based on the 2013 movie frozen

2013?

seriously?

it feels like just last year frozen came out

and the other one for us is michael jackson's death

people say oh this happened 5 years ago, but it feels so much more recent

it feels like the last few years have been like that for me. it's really confusing. i wasn't sure if it was just my bad memory outside of DID and dissociation issues or not.

i think things that happened several years ago happened a year or two ago. it always freaks me out when people say it was a lot longer ago. my other thing though is that i can't keep track of just a day or two ago let alone two or three weeks ago. i can vaguely recall some details, but it is just all a blur and takes a lot of effort to recall, if i can.

there aren't so much events per se that cause these time issues, it's just daily, or i guess yearly, life for me.

Same here...it feels like I'm rushing to my death...very depressing. Every event felt like last year and can be years ago. My son grew up, We turn 49 Saturday and the teens are upset. I cant even remember yesterday. When hearing an old event that seemed recent...it's more a wow moment and a pause to reflection as to why in slight amazement and then to move on to bury and forget. The years slip by in what seems a few months. Sometimes don't know what season it is...spring or fall. This is our norm.

When all my coursework is due - so much to do and so very little time - and then day after day I lose precious more time to dissociation and nothing.gets.done.
