Do you know how you come across to other people?

I really don't.

Like it shows in my writings and lack of people skills. I can't help to feel that there is some required element of one's personality to being liked that I'm lacking.

It's a blank spot.

Evidence is in the reaction of others...responses...phone calls...Invites...attention.....zero....zilch....nada...

Only times I had "friends" was when I had a lot of drugs. Now nothing. I do make efforts but are often taken the wrong way, ignored, or even worse- rejected...then it starts looking "needy" so I step away from that.

Whats even worse is when an Other's personality screw it up for me....I'm so sick and tired of being on guard.

People seem to know how they come across to other people and use it to there advantage....Hollywood is full of them...to me it's a mystery.

Just saying.

I agree, there is website alluding to this be careful how you relate to people. I agree 100%. I often wonder though, what happens at integration when therapy is deemed successful is indeed over. Do you just get ready to be popular without arguments lol? I think it is life time of just being this way I don't it ever goes away. I think unless you are preparing for some sort of fame then it shouldn't be forced. I'd say just rely on the alters to handle the day care for the family and hold a job that is about all you can ask for. If they knew what that entailed they would really be amazed a feel bad who wants that now that I shared all my stuff for them to over care take and whisper even more.

I guess it's the desire to being a well rounded person...in charge of every aspect of ones psyche...the hideousness of feeling/knowing that you are mentally ill....being normal as a pipe dream...
