Herschel Walker got a dissociative disorder diagnosis late in life.

His wife helped prove that he was doing and saying things that he did not remember. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. He was in an emotional crisis at the time. This obviously caused the dissociation to exhibit.

This is exactly like my dissociative disorder.

yes his emotional crisis in adulthood caused his dissociative problem to be noticeable but in an interview about his having DID he stated it was caused by early childhood abuse (physical and psychological abuse) he underwent before he was 5 years old.

its very common for people with DID to not know they have it until adulthood when they go through some sort of emotional crisis like depression, and other mental issues. I would not have known I had had DID if I hadnt had depression and also in college class we were required to take a psych eval and enter treatment based on the psych eval for the duration of that psychology class.

I enjoy his videos on youtube. I haven't read his book. I actually like how the doctor explained his hair and got him switching.

Someone just recently told me that Hershel Walker had traumatic brain injury from football and not a dissociative disorder. I am sorry if I am passing on false information.

He published a book about having DID so I don't think you're passing false information.
