I’ve not heard of SNAP before.

What kind of membership is it?

No it has nothing to do with food stamps!!!! It is a support network for a specific type of abuse.

since you said SNAP isnt about foodstamps it might help us to understand what you are asking if we are part of, maybe share the link to the site you want to know if we are a part of it. is this site here in america or another country, is this support network a closed group, or on facebook....

my point you asked us if we were part of it but never gave us any info to help us understand what you are talking about. I tried Googling the words SNAP support network and I keep getting the government websites for food stamps maybe thats why everyone in this thread is confused and asking you about food stamps.

can you give us the link to the online SNAP group you want to know if we are a part of?
Thanks for this!

It's fairly safe to assume that nobody who asked what it is is actually a member of it... because if they were they would know it.

SNAP is also the federal government program in the USA. IT stands for supplemental nutrition assistance program.

Sorry if this posts twice.Dropped my tablet! Didn't see the post immediately so.....
I posted the question hoping someone who was a member would reply. Didn't want to make them have to reveal their type of abuse if they haven't. Didn't mean to stir up such interest. Since I will only be revealing my type of abuse, well, no biggie. It can easily be googled. SNAP stands for Support Network for those Abused by Priests. It has grown to include any religious, any faith, male or female. It Is now an International organization with chapters in every state in the USA. Most recently in the news at the death of Cardinal Law, who fled the USA to the Vatican to escape prosecution.
Thanks for this!

here where I am we do have a support network for those abused by priests (SNAP) but because it does get confused by many who are on food stamps it is now called by other names, I am not a member of this kind of group but I do have a friend in a group that addresses the same issues that SNAP does but the group is under a different name.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
