Me am not definetly!

Like, how can you accept being you when the world doesn’t? I mean stigma is alive, right?

I don’t want to carry a bat around....the Others will use it.

How do you live life as a multiple: loud and proud or incognito?

We are caught in the middle. Body sex is male and we/they are not going to take it....nor will us...trying to stay like jail free?

We live very incognito. We don't have many trans gender alters which makes it easier. Our males selves mostly incognito protectors... or little boys. None of them have experience the distress of needing to express their masculinity in a female body.

I think happiness comes more from self acceptance rather than other-acceptance.

ETA Apparently I can't English right now!

But we to ourselves is unacceptable....we want to be free as ourselves...but physiology denies us such...so does social norms.

We are slaves to our genetics regardless of physically...prisoners to life.

If you are unacceptable to yourselves, even external acceptance won't matter a dime.
You are who you are, because of both genetics and all the things you experienced. This is the only life you will ever have. Society's perspectives are changing. Maybe yours can too. You are all you. You all exist together. Be kind to each other. Treat each other as you wish to be treated. %&$^ everyone else. You do you for a change.

Well, kinda yeah, but I didn’t write this...I guess.

It is what it is I would say, just got to deal with it the best you can. One can’t change what is much, just accept it.

No need stressng over it...just drink another beer and chill. Some people are just to overly critical...(I can say that, because lol).

For us, we are gender binary just means all races etc.. To the African americans when causcian are around it is just a little more proper. When the caucasian are around it usually a mix of both races. When the asian indian african etc islanders are here you get a little of everything, rarely. It just depends on if this is disclosure you don't want to create a non credible disclosure if it isn't needed. If with someone a male companion it just depends on how in depth certainly don't want to make it habit to share to intimately like in long term therapy without a certain amount of time to past. I go for well rounded people if I can so that if it does happen then it won't be a big deal. Of course, race in general can be a topic that is uncomfortable I stay out of it as best I can until I need to what is happening in my system. For instance finding alter that is neigbor from several years ago for the purpose of a journey. Yea, I am comfortable enough basically wanted to say

Most of the time everything is cool with us but, we do have a female alter who dislikes being in this body and mostly just hangs back and gives emotional support or may even speak up to defend dan and can even function in self defense if needed. There is another female that had been dormant for a long time but, we suspect that she has returned in the last 6 months or so but, is remaining quiet. Still working on trying to get her to talk to us.

Well, the OP sounds a little frantic, but the only thing that gives me the eebie jeebies is the stuff the Others do that embarrasses me.

Okay, like where’s the hair? Or shiny clear fingernails? They know I go apeshit over color nail polish. You know stuff like that....things that get people looking and laughing at you. Leave the damn eyebrows alone.

But as far as that goes, ai’m okay with it.

Yes. Most of the time, anyway. But it took me a long time to get here.
I have never had to deal with race or gender issues. Only two are male and one is a child and the other is only interested in playing video games. So I can be a girly girl. The nail polish made me smile, but upon
reflection it must be annoying.
I stopped caring what people think a very long time ago. Multiples have
a superior gift of survival-that's why we are what we are. We are so
strong-just making it through life is so complicated! I am incognito because most of the time my 'sharing' has gone badly. People cannot
process this disorder-so they fear it. And they start with the labels.
So when I hear the name calling I look at the source. Compare their
intellect and education to my own. Determine if they are qualified to
make a diagnosis. Since they are not able to carry on a conversation
with me about the weather, most of the time, I remind myself that the
average I.Q. in this country is 100 and recognize they are probably a
moron. My landlord warns all the new tenants that I'm crazy, but my cat
is smarter than he is. And my rent is so ridiculously low that I don't give a flying fart what comes out of his peckerwood mouth.
So yeah, I have my bad days. But all my friends live with me and none
of them eat my food or tell me what movies to watch.

Sounds like you and yours have it covered. It's good to have a system that works together and maintains everything well.
You all sound really cool.

I guess it’s this stupid male pride that keeps the guys embarrassed and ashamed, but I’m not going to belittle or lessen myself over their feelings...after all, I got feelings, too.

Of course we have complied with the oppressive rules for much too long, but we are also though co-operative and complicit in keeping the nature of our system secret for posterity sake.

You are so strong and we applaud you.

Us being beat up by our parents till we moved out and judged by everyone since birth has created a desire to be accepted as a legitimate individual.

We are now 50 and fear rejection of the social kind. We are able bodied and no where qualifiable for disability even with the bipolar diagnosis...and have no desire to fight everyone that disses us....even though we do have some warriors and wolves in here....got a tight grip on them because if they were to turn lose...we would probably go away for a long time.

But anyways....love your set.
