I beat up myself as to why we procrastinate...my conclusion is that it is tossed out of memory, and it’s not another’s alters job or priority to get it done....so it doesn’t get done and it comes across as procrastination.

Bought an erase board...but yet to write on it....something creepy about seeing notes from another alter on public display even though it’s in my living room.

Taxes are on the table but I did my nails instead. That’s too much brain work for me, I’m ready to go shopping....but it needs to be done. Hopefully a brain shows up to deal with it...

Do you have a manager part?

I have one that is the one that meets with my counselor each week. I’m there but it’s more there than me.

It’s like it oversees what’s going on and makes sure “all is well” and things like that get done.

It’s really helpful.

Yeah umm..no/yes?

We just over run each other....not very neat and quaint are we.

I guess we are sloppy....lololol haha...

We are a semicontrolled free for all... so don’t know.

Thanks though.

How does a manager work? Is it an assignment? Delegated? Appointed? Decreed? Voted in?

I’ve wanted a manager....but the Others go rogue.
Thanks for this!

So why are you abusing yourself? Why are you beating yourself up? That does nothing to help any problem.

There is an expression called, “Eat the Frog.”
That means when you get up do the biggest thing on your list that you don’t want to do. DO it and get it over with---because then you will feel so free.

You are in control of your brain—even if it doesn’t ‘feel’ like it.

That’s kind of what procrastination is==the fight between self-control and how well we predict how we’ll feel the next day.

Don’t look at EVERYTHING you have to do. Do one thing. EAT THE FROG!!

And come back and tell us how you feel.
