Has anyone here had a recent lessening of anxiety? I have finally felt half decent for the first time since my mother passed away almost four years ago.
I found out I had something called Adjustment Disorder which can happen.
The symptoms are anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and very poor self-esteem. I am finally going out more and sleeping better. I hadn't cleaned, cooked, gone out or been interested in anything for years. I had insomnia for the last 3 + years. It was a living hell just laying ion the sofa and wanting to die.

Please let me know.

I’m sorry about your moms passng and the lingering effects of her death sounds like it was life devastating.

We live in a constant state of anxiety, always worried about which alter is going to be triggered out and when...especially in public.

DP is our norm as this body is much like just a jar, but it takes sensory overload to induce DR.

I’m glad to hear that things are getting better for you.

I agree with what you're saying. I've had anxiety nearly all my life. Right now I'm seeing someone who will help me through my anxiety and depression which as you know makes DP worse. I feel much more depersonalized when I get depressed.
