Do you sometimes feel like you can feel your senses but it doesn't feel like they're "your" sensations?
For example, I was eating a while ago and it was almost as if I couldn't taste the food. I mean I knew the taste was there but it was as if there was a "barrier" between me and tasting the food. Sorry not sure if this makes sense.

Yes, this happens to me a lot. I think it's a derealization-type thing.

This happens to me a lot too. Sometimes I can see and hear but be utterly unable to make sense of the visual or aural input. It feels like I am functionally blind of deaf, even though my eyes and ears are receiving information. I just can't interpret the information for whatever reason. It happens often when I am triggered.

Yes, it's quite scary! Also because I then become afraid that I'm not in control of my body. Like what if my body dies something weird or inappropriate? It's never happened so far but what if...?
