I don't like coats, they're bulky and get in my way and I'll only wear them in extreme/long time outside times.

Do you all drive? I'd just have the heat in the car (like in the house) keep you warm? I cleaned the car this morning with no coat and it was 16 my car thermometer said. It takes awhile for the heater to warm the car but maybe you can go out, turn on the car and heat and go back in the house and wait 5 minutes before going and getting in the car?

Can you buy her a muff or hat or gloves? Most of the heat in our bodies goes out our extremities, especially our head, then hands and feet. I think she might like a muff? Little girls like muffs (I still remember mine from the mid-1950's; rabbit's fur lined with silk).

maybe she is magical and needs no coat... maybe she has a magic heat source =) like Reiki (a healing energy) - it creates a lot of heat. Sometimes i can warm feet or hands by thinking about Reiki and letting it flow through me.

You deserve a coat---you deserve to be warm--you deserve to be cared for--you are worth it.

Maybe a silly thought but when I was a small child I hated clothes (actually still do LOL) and my Mom could not keep a coat on me - it was stifling, confining, yucky. So, my Mom bought me a wool cape and I loved it - I could be anything in that cape - when I had the cape on, I wasn't me and I could hide, disappear - but I was also warmer. Would your young one like a cape? Maybe enough different from a coat - not something so much to think not to deserve but to think it would make invincible and invisible from evil?

Take care.

Can you "mother" your alter and tell her she deserves the coat? That she is beautiful and looks so pretty in it? Maybe buy her a matching hat and scarf? Notice her.

(see my post in psychotherapy this morning called romeo & juliette)

HUGS

Stay Warm

XOXOXOXO

Kiya's idea is awesome. I practise Reiki too, it's been very helpful.

If she refuses to wear a coat, How about layering clothes?

Also, maybe there are special kind of clothes that "store" warmth, I don't know how to say it but I hope you get the idea.

Much strength to you, and everyone else here.
