My daughter is in emoional pain, she and her b/f of 2 years have split ..... please keep her in your thoughts ..... i hate to see her so upset, crying .... my heart goes out to her ...... they both agreed it was for the best, but it still hurts them ....

My best friends dog was run over and killed by a speeding driver today, this is the friend who just lost her mum .... the dog was a part of their family and only young please could you keep the family in your thoughts too if it's not too much to ask ....

I'm sorry things are so painful today, especially when the pain just seems to keep coming at people.

I will pray for you and your daughter and your friend and her family.

I know how hard it can be to be there for a daughter when you have your own things to deal with.

I feel sad for the folks who lost their puppy. I know for many people they are family members. Losing a mom is devastating, no matter what your relationship - good or not.

sorry i wasn't around yesterday to respond, we were having a tropical storm and i couldn't stay connected to the internet.

maybe you and daughter could snuggle up on the couch with icecream and cookies and watch a good chick flick. breaking up is hard, but in the end it is usually for the best.

as for your friend, imho dogs go to heaven to wait for us. he will be there with her mom.

I'm proud of her becasue her ex called her at 3am but she hasn't called him back yet ..... i just hope he doesn't start messing her around ..... right now we are a close family unit .... i'm enjoying it while i can .... she's off to Uni in 3 weeks ....

oh my daughter is so sad ..... i remember going thru all this myself and know how she feels .... i feel so useless to help her .... so many cuddles, advice, she keeps asking me when the pain will go ..... i hate to see her hurt

first love is always the hardest to get over, and it is almost always not the one that will last. maybe you can go out and have a special girls day out. get manicures and pedicures, or if money is an issue do them for each other at home. and lots of comfort food. tell her the pain will ease over time, but that there will be days that will be harder. my middle daughter is 5 months in in the same situation, had been doing great and then he called her today and she came running into my room in tears just from hearing his voice.

at least she has a momma who understands and remembers how it feels. that helps more than anything. my momma told me well who needs a man anyway.

We had a WONDERFUL day today

Tony took Dani, Dominic and I to an exotic bird park. We've never been before and have some amazing photographs We had parrots, african greys, macaws, military macaws, various smaller beautiful birds all feeding out of hands and standing on our shoulders ...... it was wonderful. Some of them are very rare, some were given to the park as unwanted pets and some have been hand reared there. We walked through a woodland full of loose birds, the parrots were talking Sometimes you could just hear them yelling ''hello' or 'hi there' from above.... the african greys were immitating cell phones, saying all sorts of things and the bigparrots were mimicking Dom and I laughing,we were in stitches .... it was so theraputic I want to go again and again .... it was a wonderful idea of Tonys ... we talked to the staffand got to know some of the birds' names .... one of the military macaws actually came onto my arm because i stood there for ages talking to him, he took a grape off meso gently thn stood on me for ages, even the keeper didn't get on with him!!!!!!!

Dominic had an african grey on his shoulder for ages, it took a shine to him lol .... one smaller bird who loved shiny things bit my earlobe and drew blood lol, it was an amazing day and lovely just us four all together..

I'm sooo glad you and Dani and Tony had such a wonderful day - it sounded so interesting and pleasant. There is nothing like that where I live in Texas except the zoo and it's not like that where the birds can come to you.

I'm glad Dani had a distraction. I remember that first break-up, it was devastating. I had never given my heart before to anyone. However, I am INCREDIBLY GLAD that we did breakup - that was NOT a match "made in heaven" - just the opposite!!!
