We heard the "aunt's " voice today is she really back or have we lost it.

has something triggered you? could you be smack dab in the middle of a flashback...when in flashbacks, i can "hear", "smell", everything...is there someone you can call to hear a trusting voice to help ground you right now.

She is not really back, sweetheart. Sometimes memories play powerful tricks on our minds. But you are safe now, and far away from her. She cannot harm you.

Okay now, sorry I didn't mean to worry anyone, this was so real, like she was in same room. was this dissasocitive or PTSD
Thank you Kimmy Dawn the little ones saw you and the kitty and calmed down pretty fast, we checked all the rooms no one here so we sat in the safe place Ozzie , were ok, and love you for caring SweetCrusader, we sat in safe place til Papa got home, told him what happened and he got her pic out of album and had us tear it up in tiny pieces and we flushed her down the toilet, hopefully for good Fuzzy, Amy wants to come to your cave for a party cuz she feels safe with you, cuz you'll grrrrrrrrr away mean people Again I hope I didn't scare anyone Angie

Glad you're feeling better. I have dreams that I would swear were real. We just don't seem to know what's real or not. What I do is ask my husband if this happened, that was said. More times than not it was just my own mind or a memory. If you had someone there you could ask them, it'd help keep you grounded & focused on reality. What I also do is take my dog & just hold her. I tell her "Keep mommy focused". She's our "kid". Usually just being able to focus on her I can figure out if it was real or not. I guess you can try that if you have someone there. Again, glad you're doing better.
