I know I need to face reality. Stop the endless clicking on the computer, zoning out... other forms of ignoring what needs to be done.
Been up for 8 hours now, running from the need to write something to bring the therapist (now 4 hours away). Been running from that for 2 weeks. running from the pain running from everything real. But if I'm always hiding, running, escaping I'm not getting better. How do I face the reality...

i agree with beadlady---one moment at a time.
looking at the big picture is often overwhelming for us (the constellation) sometimes we make a list of the things that should be done that day. don't have to "do everything", but it is there as a guide. sometimes the task at hand is scary and it just needs to be done. we had to write something for T last week. had to make ourselves sit down and do it. we like unlined paper. we like colored pencils or crayons we don't make lists of feelings or triggers or stuff like that we like free writing all over the paper. or poetry to express ourselves structured writing is difficult. don't know your assignment, but could you perhaps just write like you post here??? just our thoughts hugs to you ![]() ![]() |

i agree with both iris an beads...one moment at a time is usually all we can do too...more like minute ta minute is enough...even lookin at what we r gonna do in 3 or 4 hours is way too overwhelmin ta think about...
u will find that just focusin on the here an now moment will b easier than tryin ta focus so out of touch future...just b in the here...an dont try ta fathom what will come next... the bible says that we need ta live in the here an now because we donno what will come up an we rnt sposta worry bout the future...cuz the here an now has enough worries ta worry bout... hope this makes sense... abbi of jewels

![]() You are facing reality because you know what you need to do. Be easy with yourself. |
