yes, yes, yes on the reminders everywhere
can't seem to get past all that....
nearly everywhere i go there is something or someplace
we have been together, or a conversation pops into mind
or whatever---alot of flashbacks of some bad things
are hitting too....
good and bad all mixed together in the same place.
can't totally "redo" my house---
some things are packed away, but seems like there is more
that has to go.
if the pain from naomi
and the flashbacks from me
would just stop for a little while, i think we can survive this
but right now its a battle of trying to block and numb and distract.
GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Thankyou all for sitting with me.
We are doing better, I think.
Went on retreat from Sat. evening till yesterday evening. I really needed it.
We all did. I time of reflection and attempting to get both feet into the present so we can move on.

Made some resolutions and some plans. Still processing some of the discoveries and thoughts.

Finding it hard to come back to "life" and the daily responsibilities and all that.

But I'm here!

so glad to hear that the retreat went well...........
sounds like you did some good self-exploration and learning!

don't be too hard on yourself about having difficulties in adjusting back to 'regular life'......be gentle with yourself as you would others.......
hopefully you will be back into the grooves in short time...

thinking of you and sending gentle hugs and peaceful thoughts,

mary

Thank you mary--While there I was in a place where I could take time for looking at "me" stuff. No TV, computer, telephone. Now I am home. Alot of distractions from going back to that "quiet" place where I could read, write and meditate. Didn't feel guilty there, but do here if I don't "get something done"....Hmmmmmm.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{white iris}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
we so hear ya on the 'feeling guilty' iffen ya dont gets stuff done....
an some days there just aint enuf hours in the day to does it all!!

we is learning to just concentrate on one thing at a time instead a looking at the whole big picture of EVERYTHING that needs be done cuz we gets overwhlemed otherwise...........also when we gets sick of doin one thing sometimes we goes and works on sumthin else for awhile, and like maybe come back to it later........also helps to keep us from getting so overwhelmed.......we also is learning to make sure that we MAKE some time every day for MARY just so she can unwind, relax and chill out whatever her needs to do ( meditate, write in journal, talk to a freind on the phone, etc...)
just some food for thought.......we is thinking of ya
and sends gentle hugs and peaceful, relaxing thoughts your way,

beads
